Hello,

I know that some of you have been writing to the USCIS Director lately... Not that I have my hopes very high though I don't understand how some people get approuved in as little as 7 days!!!

Proof:

Service Center : Texas Service Center

Consulate : Egypt

Marriage : 2006-08-19

I-130 Sent : 2007-10-11

I-130 NOA1 : 2007-10-11

I-130 Approved : 2007-10-18

And don't get me wrong I'm very happy for them and wish we could all get approuved in no time like that!

What I want to know is why it can take such little time for some people and so longer for others when no RFE has been requested and it's just sitting there waiting for who knows what kind of action...

So please can anyone give me the USCIS Director's contact just so that I can vent out... like it's going to help anyways...

Thank you,

The over darined overseas wife...

Christine & John

Met October 2002 in Australia.

04/07/07 Wedding in New Caledonia.

Hi there,

Unfortunately i think there are many of us in same situation. My I 129F was sent on 1 of May, receipt notice on 15 of May, and since 15 of June no touches, still pending standard processing, my I 130 was sent on March and approved on 2 of July, but we can't go any further because my kids I130 isn't approved yet. I already got the IV bill but it is on hold. It is very frustrating for us.If you get the adress of the USCIS director can you please let me know? I would really appreciate it.

Good luck and thank you in advance,

Sending any thing to the people at the top will most often not garner the results we are seeking and since it is another level of bureaucracy they may not be able to reply to your satisfaction of the goings on in the dungeons below.

I think the reason some go through quicker than others is that some of the employees are not afraid to take responsibility for their actions and decisions and others will sit on petitions until the last available moment then ask for guidance trying to put off the inevitable for as long as possible.

I have mailed my complete package to the Director of USCIS/DHS's generic address in Washington and they received it over 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear a confirmation of receipt or any other comment from them, believe me I am not holding my breath. I have 3 more packages to ready to be forwarded but not yet in 4 weeks if I have no reply from Washington I will mail them to each of the following with letters as to why they receiving these packages. 1. to the state Senator where my fiancé lives – 2. to The Ambassador of the United States of America in Canada – 3. to The Consular General of the United States of America in Montreal. Do I expect any results from any of the above 4 no but I will chance it anyway, maybe the skies will open and a light will shine and they may see the light and do their work correctly.

Tell your fiancé to sit tight things will move again. Mail or e-mail Washington only if you feel that it will help you and not hinder your progress. Remember that if your file is pulled from its position it may not be returned there nor moved to the top of the other.

P.S. Just to clarify; my documents sent to Washington are because of a waiver request not because of the way the process is going.
