That's what I did, I guess i-130 is for CR1 visa and 129-f for k-3 visa, whichever one gets processed faster.

I am not sure though if anything else needs to be done for CR1 visa ( I guess I need to look into it:)) . At this point, my 129F is moving 4 months faster than i-130

I hope it helps.

Good luck!!

Eva.

Its just the same form I-129F, you know what how a K1 visa works, but the I-129F for K3 is a multi entry visa valid for 2 years, no advance parole needed to leave & re enter the country, if your Husband comes here on the K3 visa he will have to adjust status just like with the fiance visa K1

the K3 visa when approved moves much faster than the I-130 (CR1/IR1), K3 spends just enough time at the visa center to get a number then onto the Embassy/Consulate, for processing there which is quite fast as you know with the K1!!

The I-130 (CR1/IR1) once approved spends anything from 3 to 5 months at the national visa center before being sent to the Embassy/Consulate

What happens if you already in the country on K3 visa and your i-130 gets approved? I guess at that point one would not need it....or do you have to go back to be processed for different visa?

Thanks in advance for your answer euro, you seem on top of it:)

you have 2 options, I came to the US on a K3, but i opted to follow the CR1 route too, so i let my I-130 process through NVC then onto the Embassy in London, where i will return for my CR1 interview this month, or you can apply to adjust status AOS in the US!!, I think you need your I-130 approved anyway for the AOS interview, but you can apply before its approved!!
