UGH....question about the DS-230...

Hello fellow VJers!

Alrighty...today I called the NVC to see if there was an update on our case (I sent in the DS-230 form and they received and put it into the system on October 10th, 2007)...and when I called the automated message stated that "the NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and has found information incomplete or missing...and they sent out a letter October 19th)...i mean i want to be hopeful and say maybe this is just a message that indicated they are still reviewing the forms until they complete the case...but now I am worried...what could possibly be missing since i sent in EVERYTHING that was requested...has anyone else gotten this message before? Any help would be appreciated...I am just upset because now there is going to be even more of a delay in this whole process... thank you

i've gotten it.... it could be a number of things, but the most common is missing info. for the I-864.

call the operator on monday and ask what you are missing...if there is really something missing, then they'll let you know.

I had the same message, and I called and found out what was missing on the same day it was sent out.

but i received this message AFTER i sent in the DS-230 (before this recording there was another that stated they received it on October 10th and were reviewing the forms)...so could it still be the I-864?? or could it mean nothing at all?? i appreciate the help and i will call them Monday to find out exactly what is missing

The best thing to do is to call NVC, it may not mean anything. They may say that they are still reviewing it and has not gotten to checking or reviewing each and every document they have received from you. I learned the hard way by getting this message the last time they got my DS230, initial reaction was I panic. They will let you know if you are or are not missing anything.

Call the NVC ... talk to the operator.... will have to crack our brains with them for few minutes , And we would probably know what they are upto.

I am still waiting for interview date..... So many days and time to search for an Interview slot in this age of High Speed Data Internet.... God do Something for me Please.
