Hello any and all,

My wife came here on a K-1 visa, we have just married, and now I'm getting ready to apply for AOS and EAD. As for the Affadavit of Support, I-864, may I re-use some of the supporting documents that I filed with my I-134 for her visa appointment in the overseas consulate? For instance the bank statement, statement form my employer, and various documents from my mother, the co-sponsor of my fiance (now wife)? These documents are all dated around 5 months ago.

Yes you can, we did, just updated the pay stubs to ones closer to AOS filing.

We used I-864EZ, and attached copies of IRS returns for past 3 years, IRS transcripts, letter from employer, and copies of recent pay-stubs.

If you are still needing to use a joint sponsor, then use I-864, and joint sponsor also uses I-864.

Keep in ming I-864 requires IRS returns.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Exactly! We did the same thing...just updated the pay stub section, we didn't have a joint sponsor. No problems at all.

Hi,

I am also thinking of re-using the supporting documents we submitted in our I-134 before, but what I have are photocopies of letter of employment and letter from the bank. Are photocopies okay ?

Please advice.

Thanks.

Vilma
