I'm now officially halfway to getting a Maine driving licence! Today I flew through my permit written examination, including the eye exam (which was a bigger ordeal than the paper test!) and I'm on the waiting list for a road test.

Time to brush up on that parallel parking on the wrong side of the road....

You know what the funny thing is? I can parallel park a car of any size on the left hand side of the road, despite the steering wheel being on the wrong side. Doing it on the right, however, requires some kind of miracle to get it in first time - even in my tiny little Sentra!!
