Congratualtions NYBlubird! I am so happy for you guys.

Teresa - glad you were able to reschedule, hope things work out for Eric and he finds something soon. Alan finally got a call in regards to the police certificate, it's been issued (YAY!) so we can finally get moving again.

KTJett - not sure about scheduling now, Alan waited until he had Packet 3 before he scheduled his but I think as long as you know what doctors it's fine. Heck the sooner you can get all of this D-O-N-E the better. Keep us posted! :thumbs:

I called the embassy in Zagreb today to see if they received petition from NVC and they did yesterday!!! They sent out both packages with interview date today so I should have them tomorrow. Interview date is November 26, 10am!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: My honey's birthday!!! They also told me to get my medical done asap, emailed me right away the info what doctors I can contact. So I arranged an appointment for tomorrow. It's so nice to be able to get fast and accurate info for a change!

05/21/2007 - I129F sent to VSC

05/25/2007 - NOA1

10/10/2007 touch (change of address)

10/11/2007 touch

10/12/2007 touch

10/15/2007 NOA2 (Approved)

10/18/2007 NVC received

11/02/2007 NVC left

11/06/2007 embassy received the petition

11/07/2007 package 3 & 4 sent out

04/09/2008 Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll be getting my green card in the mail soon.

Since Alan is in Dublin, I wonder if he can hand deliver his Packet 3 & schedule his interview at the same time :idea: ...wow - you guys are so close now!!! He will be here in no time!!!! Let me know how the scheduling of the interview goes in Dublin...I hope they are speedy!!

7/18/08 EAD approved!!!!!! Card prodution ordered (67 days from filing)

7/28/08 Email saying EAD card mailed out today....but it was in the mailbox when I got home!!!!! Finally!!!

8/15/08 Welcome Permanent Resident Email

8/20/08 Email that AOS application is approved!!!! (100 days from time final application sent)

Question: Our case has been sent to NVC (yay!). Can my fiance call to schedule his medical now or does he have to wait until he receives Packet 3? Thanks!!!

Do you know which Doctors are authorized for the Consulate to perform medical exams for this visa process?

My instruction packet (Packet 4) says that I must present my passport and letter of appointment to the Dr. in order to have the medical done. And I must choose a Doctor from the list they provided me.

It could be different in Ireland.. I don't know, but I'd check with the local Consulate.

I actually filed in late April but have a May 1 NOA date. My SO had his interview today and was APPROVED!! He picks up his visa on Friday.

This was a true journey! I enjoyed reading the posts here, it was a tremendous help in getting through this process!

For info, I learned yesterday that our file was sent to Bern, Switzerland the day before. 31 days after NOA2

Since we have done all (police, medical) things required (low volume of emigrants from Switzerland, we got the package 3 before by just asking before the NOA2). We just need to negotiate an interview date, since my fiancée is in Los Angeles with me...
