Don't forget to bring with you your Appointment letter :)

Thanks for the reminder. I forgot to add on my previous post that one folder which contains all the letters from the Congressman, Senators about the case status and such, Notices (NOA2, NVC Letter) as well as the appointment letter from the USEM with the receipt of the visa payment fee (pink slip) and also I'm bringing along the whole I-129F petition copy that we submitted to the USCIS just in case there will be a need for it. As said, it is always better to be over prepared than under prepared.

You are very organized, this certainly will impress the interviewing officer. Good luck

Thank you so much! This is actually the fruit of reading VJ's guides, threads etc. coupled with hard work, resourcefulness and initiative. I would be forever thankful that I found this site even before David and I submitted the I-129F and this one very good site that I always recommend to my friends who are also pursuing the same journey and surely they can do that without any help from an immigration lawyer.

You can write that again. That's how my wife and I were organized. Knock'em dead... The CO's during the AOS will also love you (if you have to go in for an interview)... - Cheers!!!

Above all else,I would like to extend our sincerest thanks to you Sheriff Uling for helping us through this process with ease by providing all the needed information that greatly helped us in preparing the documents. With this, I hope that the interview will go smoothly and all the sleepless nights and sacrifices would all be worth it in the end! Again, thank you!

Just want to know what kind of folder did you used???I'm using clear book

Hello jessel chris! I am using colored paper folders (metallic) to exude style ;) even with organizing such a bulk of documents and for easy identification and then placed it in a plastic portfolio with plastic separators. Also, I used colored clips that match the folders to make it look neat. It's actually for personal satisfaction as I am very detail-oriented.That's it. Just PM if you have anything more to ask. Thank you and enjoy assembling documents! It maybe tiresome but its really fun and challenging!

You are already well prepared and well organized. And make sure the folder is not too thick (not more than 1-inch if possible) as it might not pass through their window opening. Good Luck on your interview.

Couple of quick questions concerning two items on this list please:

Transcript of Records in red ribbon (original & photocopy) - I thought these were not needed for an interview for a K-1/K-3 visa in the Philippines. Can someone confirm this please?

Voter's Affidavit (original & photocopy) - What is this?

Thank you.
