My NOA1 is FEbuary 17th.... when can i start asking for help or getting worried about my pettiton? I know CSC is slow.. but still.. when is it ok to contact the congressman or someone for help?

My USC fiance is in Georgia.. and our pettiton is in California.. who do I start bugging? can a lawyer call CSC to ask for info?

Feb 15 2006- sent I 129

Feb 17 2006- NOA1

Feb 23 2006- *touched*

April 1 2006- still waiting =(

July 10 2006- touched!!

Aug 15 2006- sent back RFE (the wait begins again)

Sep 18 2006- NVC sents case to Embassy!!

Sep 21 2006- Embassy recieves!

Sep 27 2006- Embassy send interview packet!!

Nov 9 2006- Medical completed

Nov 20 2006- Interview APPROVED

Nov 22 2006- picking up my VISA

NOV 23 2006- leaving for ATLANTA

I contacted mine after 5 months of waiting...

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

CSC says it takes 90-120 days for processing, you are not there yet so no point in asking anyone.

*January 24 2006 - mailed in I129-F petition

*January 25 2006 - I129-F received at CSC

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

*February 1 2006 - I129-F received at CSC again

Hi, you should contact your congressman after you are out of the time frame written on your NOA1 which is 90-120 days so that means that you contact your congressman after the 120 days, otherwise they wont be able to help you anyway. Your case might still get approved on time so dont worry yet. I know that the waiting is frustraiting but unfortunately we dont have a choice.

We contacted our congressman after 5 months of waiting and are still waiting for the response.
