I looked all over and I've called the USCIS and they say they will mail it and they never do.

Do you know where we can get one ?

I also asked for a copy (via phone) weeks ago, nothing yet. Maybe it just takes them time to send it?

Hi belive it or not, we got the booklet today! I guess it just takes a number of weeks for them to mail it.

Because we've seen the real one and it is a lot nicer than printing and making holes. Plus it is over 124 pages...

ANd no, I haven't received our yet.

I visited uscis to find out how to get one of these booklets after reading this thread. One thing I did notice, is that it says :

Welcome to the United States is available online in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Tagalog, Portuguese, French, and Haitian Creole. Each translation is available electronically in Adobe PDF format.

Welcome to the United States is also available for purchase in English and Spanish through the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). To order a print version of this publication, follow the GPO link to the right or call 1-866-512-1800 (toll-free) or 202-512-1800 if you live in the Washington, DC metro area.

Wouldn't this suggest that if you want a printed copy from them sent to you that you have to pay for it?? Ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned once you've had your AOS approved, this should come in the mail with your GC.

Don't worry florida_guy, I'm sure you will get yours too; I think we ordered ours a few weeks before you so just give it a few more weeks. Nice little booklet.

Carla, the booklet is free, we just gave our mailing info on the automatic phone line. And yes of course we agree with you, the booklet should come in the mail along with the green card!
