4 months before Our engagement ceremony was supposed to be 100-120 about 1000.00 then the a week before it was about 225 1900.00 but when the day came 275. They had to bring in 5 more tables to get everybody seated. My cost was going to be 1900.00 but adding the 5 extra table's was another 500.00. And thank God no Credit cards were used. I brought extra cash with me just in case of something came up. But it was well worth it, She was so happy that all her family and friends were there. They had this 6 course dinner plan and we didn't even get a chance to eat. After we left we went back to the Hotel and order Room Service.

A perfect example of Vietnamese planning......Bring a credit card (You can get cash advances in HCMC if necessary) and "go with the flow".

"Khong Sao Dau" which literally means "No Star Where", which means "No Problem"

Yes we used these pictures, also so that there are no miss understandings the photo with the cake States it's engagement Not wedding. and even with the date on it. even the DVD that was made say's it an engagement cermoney, if they even look at it. I was worried about it a little bit. Cause we are not married but when my family and friends look at the DVD they say it look like a wedding.

And also if you bring cash try to get new U.S. currency, They will give you a better exchange rate. Also I had a little fading in some of the money they wouldn't even exchange it.
