10/04/07- Welcome Notice received <<<[yours] and this is mine >>>>> ( I received WELCOME NOTICE)

10/05/07- Green Card received<<<<<<<<[yours] and this is mine >>>>> ( I received Greencard)

Sorry to jump in... The approval notice that was sent is the green card. What you didn't receive was an email telling you in advance that your approval notice (green card) was on its way to you. But you don't need that email. You're good. So...congratulations! :dance:

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

Sorry to jump in... The approval notice that was sent is the green card. What you didn't receive was an email telling you in advance that your approval notice (green card) was on its way to you. But you don't need that email. You're good. So...congratulations! :dance:

"Welcome Notice" may also mean the "welcome to America" letter(s) that seem to come in the mail before the green card is received. Some people don't get them, some people get multiple letters. Honestly, they are a waste of paper IMHO ;)

SJ, as people have already told you, the piece of paper the card is stuck on is your approval notice. Not everyone gets the emails or welcome letters, it's ok. :) Congratulations on getting your card. :)
