Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer amongst women in the US.

It's estimated by the American Cancer Society that (in the USA) about 178480 women will be found to have invasive BC during 2007.

Early detection is the key and the best ways are regular BSE and up to date mammograms.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. After Breast Cancer Diagnosis website

Contact your local branch. They give out guides to checking your breasts. They are waterproof and fit over your showerhead, with the months labelled down one side, with 'pop-out' bits to remind you when you've done it that month. They sent a load of them for free to us last year, and we gave them out at Xmas to female friends and family.

Actually, they may just be WI-based. Check it out, anyway.

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

Vons always participates in Breast Cancer Awareness so we gave money last night even though Claudeth about wipped me out :P
