I understand what the guy cutting down the flag was feeling. I'm a black american, a veteran and currently feel my country is being invaded!

Because of the politics of the situation, most people are afraid to stand up and say so. Our country is caught in the middle of being strangled by it's own good intentions and our politicians feel that they can't be in office without chapping their lips on the butts of a very large population of people who are forcing themselves into our living rooms.

I try hard in my life to keep as few 'Politically Correct' bones in my body as possible. To be honest with anyone I meet, follow the laws as best I can and give each person I meet the respect all humans being deserve. This is more than most of this country has done for me growing up, but it has gotten better.

Until there is a solution to this invasion that works for all, but mostly for the citizens of the U.S, the place being invaded, there will continue to be hostility around such little things as the flag incident.

If you want to get right down to it most people here are illegal immigrants or at least their ancestors were. As a native of this land I think it's completely stupid for anyone who isn't a native to complain about others coming here to steal your land (the land you stole from others when your people illegally invaded and occupied this land and killed or imprisoned its inhabitants

A flag at half mast is a another sign of respect. Maybe the Soviet flag should be flown over the US flag or the US flag should be covered in sh!t. I think that would make some people around here happy.

I think if a person can't respect the letter and spirit of the laws of the country they claim to be defending - bitching about someone else's use of said country's flag would seem rather trite IMO.
