Congrats Sonshyne!  That was a lot of questions the IO asked you!

Yes she did here is the full interview

The interview went pretty good. First she swore us in, then she asked for our ID, passports, and birth certifercates. Then she asked for proof of any joint assests we had together, which we only had 3 items, 2 bank accounts and proof that he had been added to my insurance package thru my job. Then she asked to see any pictures that we had. We showed her some of the wedding photos, she asked who was there, and I told her and there was a group photo us all of us. She then asked Neil if any of his family was there. He told her no and that we were planning on renewing our vows in JA next year on our anniversary and that his family and which ever family members of mine that were going would be there.

Then she asked me why I hadn't changed my last name... And we told her that I wanted to wait until we renewed our vows on our anniversary, which she was ok with ( I was kind of worried that it was going to be a problem). She asked for my check stubs and income tax returns then she asked me were I worked, how long I'd been there and what my position was. Then she asked me if I had brought the phone bills from when he lived in JA?? I told her I didn't have bring them because it wasn't listed in the form of things to bring. Then she wanted to know how and where we met, and how many times I been there to visit him. She looked thru my passport to verify what I'd said. She then asked if we had been on any short trips or a honeymoon. Which we told her no because we were saving that money for the trip and wedding in JA which would be in June. Then she asked if I had any kids, how many and if they lived in they house. She really didn't ask Neil very many questions, it was like I was the only one being interviewed. The only questions she asked him was his name, address, phone number and birthdate, and of he was working yet. Then asked me if went to the K-1 interview and if we came back to the states together. She then started checking things off in our file and said everything looked good and that he would receive his green card in the mail in 2 weeks. She also told us we would need to file to lift conditions 90 days before his green card expires. When you go, take everything you have, including the things from your K-1 interview. Just in case they ask for it they may not, but it's better to have it just in case.

We completed AOS today!! We had a nice woman she swore us in and asked for what proof of joint assests we had which I gave her. Then asked for any phone records we had??? I told her that I wasn't informed that we needed to bring those. She then asked me how we met and when. How many trips I made to visit, what type of work I did and for how long I had been there.... She asked me a lot of questions ... She mostly interviewed me. She only asked my husband 4 questions... Name, address, phone number and birthdate. Then told us congrats and that we should receive the green card in about 2 weeks. No more immigrations for 18 months :dance:

The whole thing took about 15 minutes and was pretty painless. Best wishes to everyone else still waiting

Oh gosh, i agree there. That's pretty rude! Plus, I don't see what exactly that proves - someone can just make something up. My husband did not even tell me where he got my ring. I mean, he surprised me with a new ring. If they would have asked me that, I would have been sarcastic and said $1 million LOL.

Trust me I wanted to be very sarcastic, but I figured that might not be such a good idea... Especially when we were depending on her for an approval, so I just kept my cool
