When mediamatters lied about something Rush said about a person claiming to be a soldier the dems in the Senate jumped all over it. Mediamatters said Rush called anyone in the military that was opposed to the war "phoney soldiers". Of course that wasn't what he said because he was refering to people that lied about their military service. But the Senate didn't seem to care that it was a lie and proceded to smear Rush. They even took it as far as to send a letter to Clear Channel to try and get him fired. 41 dem Senators signed the letter. This is our tax dollars at work. The Senate did this on our time. Rush is auctioning off the letter with all the procedes to go to The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation to pay for schooling for children of those killed in the line of duty. Rush will also match the high bid. Right now the top bid is over $851 thousand dollars with one day to go.

I find it interesting that none of the media is covering this but they were more than happy to spread the lies of Mediamatters.

Rich, you realize that you are far from being 'conservative', right? Libertarians espouse personal liberties even farther beyond what many who you'd consider Far Left within the Democratic Party, although most of your views on personal liberty are more in line with those on the Left than with those on the Right. So if you are what you say you are, you are in effect, a 'liberal'.
