Did I miss something? Again?

 just more drama in our ongoing sega of lives with ex-spouses.. i just don't understand people sometimes.. you lose your job, so you buy an SUV when you already have a good car.. I don't understand.

You rush in to get vehicle financing because once they find out you have lost your job you won't be able to get any!

(as you already know, it doesn't make any sense, so try to put it out of your mind)

It's so frigging hard because someday down the line when this bites her in the butt whom will she come to looking for money with some sob story about how bad she's got it... GAH!!!!

Sorry.. it bothers me too much... i really do need to let it go. BUT IT'S FRUSTRATING!!!

I meant let it go only because it will bounce around in your head, not because I think it's not a worthy thought and also it's really good advice but it would irk me as well. It must be so very frustrating for you Em.

So true!

And that's not a bad idea Em, at least you wouldn't have to see the updates, hmm that might be a bit maddening too though.

OH dear.. my Japanese friend..

She's pregnant.. everyone got that memo right? She said in our last conversation that she's trying to lower her expectations of her marriage.. that about sums it up :bonk: It's really really sad.. she is upset because he can't provide for them financially (they are living off a gov. small business grant right now and the business is not doing well - they sell Anne products)..

And that's not a bad idea Em, at least you wouldn't have to see the updates, hmm that might be a bit maddening too though.

lol.. I'm sure she checks my status too... so i wonder if she would notice if I cut her off :P

Oh E .... your hubby's ex sounds like such a flake. Obviously, that is why he is with you .... because you are SANE!!! And would never buy a new SUV after losing your job :)

Krikit - I love your shaving issues :) I needed that today!

So, hubby called me this morning. Declan was sent home from daycare because they suspect he has pink eye. Well, on Monday, the doc told me I had bacterial conjuctivitis, gave me an antibiotic eye drop. On Wednesday, with no symptom change, a different practitioner told me it was an allergic reaction and gave me Prednisone. So now, if Declan has pink eye ... does that mean I really had it too and not an allergic reaction? Argh! And my eyes are still itchy and sore and a little red and puffy underneath.

Always keep your enemies in plain sight.

Autumn, if Declan has pink eye, you have pink eye..... which didn't respond to the initial medication. Isn't prednisone a steroid? I think I'd stop taking it if I were you.

Oh oh. I just read up about it:

Link

Do not stop using prednisone suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Talk to your doctor about how to avoid withdrawal symptoms when stopping prednisone. Carry an ID card or wear a medical alert bracelet stating that you are taking a steroid, in case of emergency.

Before taking prednisone
You should not use this medication if you are allergic to prednisone, or if you have a fungal infection anywhere in your body.

Prednisone can weaken your immune system, making it easier for you to get an infection. Steroids can also worsen an infection you already have, or reactivate an infection you recently had. Before taking prednisone, tell your doctor about any illness or infection you have had within the past several weeks.

Ohhh here I go again about that annoying co-worker. I did learn something about her. She must have the worst taste in cinema on the planet. Not only does she absolutely love the garfield movies....... but also she loves any movie made by any of the guys on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour... AKA Larry The Cable guy. She was telling me about how funny this movie she just saw was. After she told me how funny Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector was, all I could say was "well, I like actual comedies" and went back to my office. She then offered to lend me the DVD so that I could watch it and see how funny it was. No thanks, I'd rather get a colonoscopy.
