Okay I am staying home today. Sick, sick sick. Lucky I have my blankets, soup, vitamins and my laptop.

Awww feel better! Don't forget the OJ! Are you going to go to the Doctor and get that cold checked out? Have you taken anything for it?

I just lol'ed for real!

A cold means you need to rest and do as little as possible.

Ask for more love at this time.

:star:(L):star:

Yeah, when you Husband walks in say 'hey sugar man, give me some love'

MrsCat, my take on your appalling phone calls was the same as that mean ole krikits. I guess sometimes the blah news kind of sticks in peoples heads and so when they talk to you that's what comes out. I like the guidelines idea.

Yea krikit brings the cheese to the table with her hubby. :P

bwahahahha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

But, seriously. I keep having waves of nausea this morning. Not sure what's going on. :(

And, NO, I'm not pregnant!!! :bonk:

awww, sorry to hear that krikit!

Sorry you are not feeling up to snuff. Are you taking gravol?

Sprailenes, I hope you feel better really soon :)

Gravol is the bomb. So is Advil. But, no, haven't taken any gravol as yet. I'll ride it out and see what happens first. Maybe I just need to get up and go outside for a bit.

Pepto bismol has chewables or swallow pills (not the liquid #######) and it does the same thing as gravol.... really helps with upset tummy and nausea!

They don't sell gravol down here do they??

I remember asking my MIL about it and she looked at me all confused like.

They call it something else. Starts with a "d"..

Gravol is awesome...but I went through a time where I couldn't sleep and can honestly say I got addicted to it. I would take it every day.

No, they don't sell it down here. I bring it back from Canada with me. It's not the same as the similar-type products they have here. Those just make me woozy.... in a bad way. Gravol is much better.
