DPX.. stubborn old folks. My husbands grandmother is one, she thinks she knows the immigration process better than us and would tell me that I could work when I first arrived even though we all know thats true.

Its soo frustrating to try to talk to them. They don't understand, they're not in the process, its sometimes just best to nod along and smile politely.

That's like my husband's grandparents.... They did NOT understand why we HAD to get married within 90 days. We got married just the 2 of us by a JOP and are having a big wedding with all friends and family next year. But they were really upset and didn't understand how you can get married "twice" they insisted the rules were wrong and I could wait 2 years and also work while I was waiting

The news on NPR this morning, "Barack Obama is going to be sworn in as America's first African American president."

Yup.

As usual, the general public is more interested in only skin-deep news....appearances...fluff.

Do people ever think any more?

Even more to the point: do people ever feel any more?

*sigh*

SpiritAlight edits due to extreme lack of typing abilities. :)

You will do foolish things.

Hi Spirit,

I agree, fluff, inaccurate and unnecessary.
