Awww Necrotica .... (L)

Are there any universities nearby that have a dental school? When I was in grad school, I got really inexpensive dental care at the dental school clinic .... I just had to let a student work on my teeth :)

There are, actually. Problem is there's a long wait time for them plus he's being stubborn and not wanting to go. He's dealt with this before back in Canada and he said the pain eventually went away. It scares me, though... I've heard of untreated dental problems actually killing people.

Ugh! He sounds like my husband regarding doctors. The only way I got hubby to see a doctor when he was sick was that I told him how stressed and worried I was about him and how it was affecting me that he didn't take care of himself.

Oh blah! I hear you, he obviously isn't in a great position to help with his wisdom tooth situation, poor guy.

I don't know how you pack - so hopefully what i'm going to say will be helpful, if not, you are reading it and it took your mind off packing for 4 mins!

Right now all you need to do is get from point A to point B. To accomplish this everything has to be in 'something'. All soft goods can be thrown in a garbage bag (forget about this for your clothes that are hanging up - just throw them in the back of the car on their hangers)

As for other stuff, if you have the cash to buy totes, buy as many as you need and just toss everything in totes. If not, or you are using boxes - start tossing stuff in.

As long as you maintain some semblence of order, you will be fine (ie all knives forks and other utensils in one box - throw the eating utensils in a freezer bag first so you don't have to rewash them).

Glass goods need care - but other than that, just start tossing stuff in!

You can sort it all out later, in your own time.

That's exactly what the plan is, minus the totes. We have very, very little money right now, and this $130 deposit has got us freaking out badly.

Hopefully they will just add it on to your bill, which isn't a great help - but better than nothing - if they haven't offered maybe you can ask them if they can?

They won't. Nor will they take payments. It's either pay out the full $130 up front, or you have no water. Believe me, I asked.

Marilyn,

Would you be allowed to send the proof of insurance yourself? That insurance lady is incompetent! I hope you get it solved quickly!

I am not sure.. I think it is something specific they want...

Fax them your declaration page...that should do the trick....I have fought this battle before

(L) P

I was thinking of doing that but the hubby said just to call the insurance company again...

sorry you are going through a rough time, necrotica... (F)

This is a petty vent compared to others but ....... WAAAAAHHHH!!! I want the snow/sleet/freezing rain to STOP. I am supposed to have a girls' night out (something that doesn't get to happen that often due to baby) and I am afraid it will be cancelled. It took a minor miracle to get all of us together, so I know if it is rescheduled, it will be way in the future. Booo!

I went to the dental hygenist today and she discovered my first ever cavity. SinceI move next Thursday, I don't have time to have it fixed in Bermuda under my insurance. I wonder how much it's going to cost to fix it in Atlanta.

*grrrr*

I am totally getting anxious about Declan having surgery tomorrow. I thought I wouldn't be this anxious because this is a minor surgery compared to the one he had at 2 months .... but I didn't sleep last night and am stressing about him having anesthesia. Argh! I especially hate knowing that I won't be able to feed him for a little while before and he always wakes up hungry and won't understand why mommy isn't giving him food.
