What the freaking fkuc????????? :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

The thought police has no sense of humour. and that's all I want to say about that.

I didn't think that you did anything wrong, you just spoke your mind. That doesn't make you a heretic (it's all the other blastephemous ####### you do  ), just someone who points out the shortcomings of Catholic Dogma. Pick a religion, any religion you'll find plenty of shortcomings. :crying::crying::crying:

But  , but  , but  I want to be blasfemous

Don't worry Sis, you're almost blast-famous now. :bonk: Just keep watching Simon, Paula and Randy each week and you too can be an American Idolator. As for me, I've never been a blastphemer, I blew out my knees but never my femurs.

Didn't want to start a new topic and didn't know where would be the best place here or in off topic, I hope is fine.

Just a wee bit pissed off

We aren't near to being done and my sweetheart is now working less than half days after spending over 20 days on stress related leave which has been a long time coming.

My doctor thinks I may have had a stroke or bad reaction to my medications, the pharmacist says that the medication should not cause stoke symptoms so now we're waiting for test result. What sucks is that neither one of us can be with the other for support and comfort we what and need.

P.S. I truely enjoy reading everything being posted, just unable to write competent replies. Sorry, I don't know how you folks keep shining so brightly but I love it and you all.

Gotta go before I start crying, bye

Oh my dear and beloved and much missed friend,

I am so very sorry to hear about your ailments. I know what it is like to develop physical conditions due to emotional stresses; and it is not pretty. I wish I could bring some peace and contentment to you and Sharon in these terrible times. But there is always space in our hearts for more prayers.

We love you folks, both of you.

Len and Bren.

Well, MATILDA did it again. The idiot gave away wrong information for our graduation event, and the Dept. Head came in and gave us all ####### for it . I lost it and emailed the Dept. Chairman came in all apologetic (poor guy) and said "message received".... well that's not quite enough now, is it? Fire his azz goddammit :ranting:.

I am closing my office door for the rest of the day. I do not want to interact with this MoFo unless it is absolutely necessary.

Oh! And I asked him to buy a new data projector in MARCH ---- took him 1 month and a half to get it, and now he places it in my office WITHOUT inventorial badges, without insurance, and without CABLES  For Fukcccsss sake, how hard is it????????????????????? :protest:

Once I start taking French class again (who knows when that will be), I know I won't be able to rely on my husband to help me with anything. He always gets so huffy whenever I ask him what something is in French. Fu*k it. I'm not asking him anymore. I'll just look the word up on WordReference.com and hopefully get help from friends or somewhere else.

My husband was the exact same way. He would generally prefer to speak to me only in English unless he absolutely had to speak German. He would also get pissy if I asked about this or that. This was annoying because I was living in Germany and needed the extra help. I ended up having to learn from everyone else but him. Thank goodness no one else I knew there spoke good English and for the blessed TV.

Now all the sudden in the US, he has done a complete 180 and pretty much speaks to me about 70% of the time in German if we are in public and about 50% of the time at home. He now is more willing to help. You have seriously got me why. I don't dislike it because I have to keep up with the language, but at the same time, my dear, I could have used this like 3 years ago. :bonk:

Anyway, I get it.

What medications were you on? I'm only asking because there are some that if you abruptly stop them, you could possibly have a stroke. That's why it's always recommended that you slowly decrease the dosage before getting off a drug.

I found this out the hard way, before I ever knew anything about medication. I was on a migraine preventative that my father prescribed for me and for some stupid reason or another, I decided I'd quit it right then and there. Well, I got the worse migraine I had ever had in my life. When I told my Dad about it, he was both concerned and angry. Considering the drug I was on, he said there were two possible outcomes for stopping it "cold turkey." One was a horrific migraine and the other was a stroke.

So the moral of the story is: don't go off the meds without at least consulting a medical professional first. :P

Just to add to what Len so eloquently posted, Ron, anytime you want to post, please do so. You are never out of place and your the details of your travails are never an imposition, especially since you have dealt with more than most of us will ever know. (L) I feel for your loneliness and your current health scare, if you need any support at this trying time, there are many broad shoulders and warm hearts here that will help bear your burden. I know it would be much better if Sharon was there with you but if it's any consolation any of us would be honoured if you sent a PM with a number where you can be contacted, if you'd like a discuss anything. If I was in Ottawa I'd be there in a heartbeat as anyone else who is familiar with your story would no doubt also be. If you feel like crying, by all means let it out, each of us is crying in our hearts for you. (L) You will be in more than a few supplications tonight.

Peace, Love and Strength to you always. (L)(L)(L)

Dear Ron,

As Mumsie so lovingly said...well I would have written the same thing if I were him (hee hee)....and as Len said...we all feel the same way I'm certain.

You could sure use a huge (hug) support team.

So sorry to read what is going on for you and Sharon.

Really and truly.

Even though it may the last thing wither of you have energy for, try to do something even for 15 minutes that you really like to do.

It could just be as simple as eating your favourite ice cream or a long distance call to a great friend.

If you need any of our (my) phone numbers, just PM!

Lots of love & light to you.

:star:

As for the restaya, I am going to vent that I miss this place!

Looking forward to getting back North in a way if for nothing more to have some more connection with all of you.

I will be driving the Sky (with the top down) tomorrow.

(I just love saying that.)

Vroom vroom! B)

Len, you hot passionate woman, take a deep breath and do not allow external situations to drive you so crazy.

See if there is anything you can laugh at about it.

And if you cannot, I suggest you bring bubbles to work and each time you even feel a hint of frustration or anger, break them out!

Who cannot feel better with bubbles around them??

:D

You're "looking" at that someone. I am seriously considering a complaint through HR - although I would not like to be caught in between Matilda and my boss and the ugliness of all this #######.

Now, I'm going to Suzzalo library for a coffee (yes, I did not bring my own so I will SPLURGE 1 USD on a refill, and that's that), have a ciggie, laugh at the idiots walking by dressed as bank safes (where is the combination, please tell me!!!); and come back for 2 hours of this #######.
