I am so sick of arguing with Chris who puts more effort into this long distance thing. I could vomit with rage today, or if he was here, a kick in the nuts would have sufficed.

Ahhhhhhh . . . . that released a little of the pressurized rage.

Gives new meaning to the term "Sack Dance." Kick Chris in the ####### and something else might also be released.

Best laugh I've had today. THANK YOU!

Mini Vent Alert!!!!

i signed up for an easy minute plan for my cell phone last Monday and I hadn't heard anything about it yet.. they hadn't taken the money out of my account or anything.. so I called today to see what was going on and the lady said, " it is still pending..... please wait 7 to 10 business days"..

well, if I don't buy airtime on my phone before the 14th my phone gets deactivated and I lose all my minutes and when I reactivate I get a whole new number.....

and I told the lady this and she just repeated.." it is still pending please wait 7 to 10 business days" .. :girlwerewolf2xn:

so to cover my butt I guess I have to add some minutes to my phone.....

I couldn't quite understand her but I think she said it was because I signed up with a checking account or something... well, if that is the case they should put some kind of warning when you sign up that it will take 7 to 10 days to clear...:angry:

Once I start taking French class again (who knows when that will be), I know I won't be able to rely on my husband to help me with anything. He always gets so huffy whenever I ask him what something is in French. Fu*k it. I'm not asking him anymore. I'll just look the word up on WordReference.com and hopefully get help from friends or somewhere else.

My mother-in-law does not speak any English and our toddler-aged nephew probably won't be able to speak it until he's in his teens, so this is kind of a big deal, you know?

Thank goodness I at least took three and a half years of French in high school.

ok it gets even crazier

yesterday I had sent them an email about the cell phone thing but I called this morning because I wasn't sure if they would respond to my email in time...

anyways I just got an email from them and this it what it said...

Upon further review on your account information, the pending transaction

has been taken care of and we are currently updating our system. It can

take 7 to 10 days before the phone can be updated with the 150 minutes.

However, there is a need to verify more information. In order to further

assist you, we need to speak with you directly.

Hmm, might be time to tell them that you are transferring too - your account to another provider! That is rather ridiculous. Maybe you should ask to speak to her supervisor directly, rather than having her always speak to him/her.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Well so far this is a crappy start to the week. My husband just called me and told me the company he works for is folding at the end of the week. He works for a grading company and has been there over 2 years. He's been in this line of business for 17 years now. He has a company truck, guaranteed 30 hours and I just got on his insurance. Now it's going to be hard for him to find a job because the housing market here in Georgia is really bad. The company has struggled to find work the past few months, but they have been getting by. Between the gas prices skyrocketing and no one building homes, theres no work. They've even gone out of state for work, but theres nothing now. I still need to see a doctor for this pregnancy and between that and the bills, I don't know what we're going to do.

Sometimes when it rains, it pours. :( So sorry to hear about the job Mary. If your husband has 17 years in the industry, I'm hoping that he can pick up some work quickly! Sending thoughts and prayers your way!

Oh, and my mother doesn't want to make the trip to my bridal shower in PA

she thinks it's a waste of money.

mostly b/c she doesn't understand the tradition, doesn't want to go there alone, and also complains cuz she has to buy a gift cuz everyone's going to do that.. .when she thinks we should just save money and take all their expensive glassware and china etc

SHE DOESN'T GET IT

I'M HER ONLY DAUGHTER

MORE SPECIFICALLY, HER ONLY CHILD!
