Some people are just plain irritating. Can't decide what do I dislike the most: stupidity or condescension.

Maybe I should do as many of our sisters have done and take off for a while.- and come back when I'm about to remove conditions.

You know, before I left for NC last week I was thinking the same thing. I had had enough. At the moment, I am back for the time being. We'll see how long it lasts.

Yep, that's the one I meant too. Idiot.

I just finished booking my INFOPASS appointment to get the I551 stamp to extend my freaking extension letter--"acting like I expected my case to be adjudicated in 3 months', my #######. No clue, he has NO freaking clue.

Meanwhile, my husband just got laid off this morning and I will probably have to go looking for work again and I am freaking out that the stamp won't be sufficient for potential employers, based on recent accounts in the forum. He has NO FREAKING CLUE!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrr. What a jackass.

Oh, and this....

Now...a previous poster commented about exorbitant costs and how many other developed countries process immigrants at little or no cost. Well thats just grand! But the real question is, why isn't the U.S. citizen spouse emigrating to the foreign spouse's country? Seems like it would be easier and lot less stressful given that the developed country's is so immigration-friendly, no? The fact is that your spouses all wanted to come here to live and not the other way around. I think that says a lot about the good ol' U.S.A. Yes, things take longer, but here in the States we run a lot more security checks on any prospective immigrant (and rightly so) than any other country.

Well, this just boils my blood. What an idiot. Yes, we all came here because the US is the best country on the planet. What an arrogant and moronic thing to say.

Or maybe I'm worse. I left him a comment. But I edited it down to something less severe. I decided to let his uninformed statements speak for themselves.

Which reminds me of something someone posted once, to me, on the talkcalgary forum:

One last thing did you not in a previous post say you were moving to the USA yourself in search a better life? If so can I be the first to say welcome! I think you are going to love the American lifestyle. You will also find that we have the utmost respect for our Canadian little brothers even if they don’t share the same admirations about us.

Of course I didn't say that and let her know that - but same type of thing.....I mean really.
