Liz! Did you get a $47 trip to Buffalo?

No.. I spent like 3 hrs looking at it yesterday... then gave up cuz it was making me crazy

you got me looking at it again!

=)

Alright, here's my dilemma

The cheap $48 fares are for may 10th forward

and I want to go for at least a week

Oliver thinks I should book my trip for sooner than later so that I don't miss out on any job opps.

Which makes sense.

but to get the good fare, I would have to be gone from the 10th to the 18th of May

I probably will be fine, right? :innocent::whistle::crying::blink:

someone make the decision for me!

or should i just suck it up and book a trip for the 5th of may to the 12th.??

I've been applying and no one's calling anyway...

so it's not like I have all this opportunities right now anyway!

AGGHHHH

I guess a week won't make a huge difference, right?

Well, I am officially sick to death of the Off Topic Forum. It's either politics or racism or people making sexual innuendoes at each other. I've decided to stay out of it for the sake of my mental health. Guess I won't be on here as much anymore. LOL

I hate it too.

Some of the topics are so horrible and so are some of the people.

Bleh

I have a name for our upstairs neighbour. I call her 'woman who walks like horse'. :)

Is your upstairs neighbour my mom??? :) lol

Wait, my mom walks like an elephant..my mistake.

SOMEBODY HIRE ME!!!

I'll hire you.

Want to pack my stuff? :)

Let's Keep the Song Going!!!

Actually, you have a bigger problem than that. The $47 fares were only good until 6:30pm yesterday. If you didn't book before the deadline you're outta luck. Sorry.

actually putting in my credit info

I see. I just went and checked. The Ding sale is gone but there's a $48 web sale, which is just as good. That's awesome. That never happens. They must not have had a big demand for people wanting to book a flight from Baltimore to Buffalo yesterday.

SOMEBODY HIRE ME!!!

Congrats (again) Liz!

My card is in the mail, too.

Hey, but, I will NOT be workin' for someone....bleh! Unless they are as fun and casual as me. Ha!

Besides, work is the last thing I am concerned with these days.

(here goes....my venting)

Here's my truth at the moment (no need to respond):

My partner's dad is in more and more pain. Bleh.

Hence we are all in more and more pain. :(

My sweetie and I "fight" all the time.

As much as I can be "wise" enough to not engage and to soften (bring it back to love and understanding) and all that, occasionally I will finish it by dropping a bomb.

For example, yesterday, I stated matter of factly that I would leave and go back "home" (Canada) tomorrow (which is today).

There is only so much disharmony I can live with (in).

And it is tomorrow today, and I am not leaving.

Obviously.

And yet, it may be time to go visit a spiritual friend in Cali.

Regenerate.

Clear my head. (Those voices!)

Come back and see where we are at.

You know, as my trip is to be in harmonious relationships with people, the fact that the person closest to me and I have zero harmony is basically killing me.

I wonder why I am creating that? (What the Bleep....?)

I guess this is all to be expected what with me being uprooted for over a year, over and over (through no real choice of my own, just circumstances; the tough part being I was finally ready to "settle" somewhat), and then the two of us uprooting plus the big dog and coming down here to assist and just be here (well it that is not easy, especially since my partner has never taken time off from working, imagine that!!)

Oh I could go and on...

And yet, I know that my (our) ego(s) is (are) at play, and what with the incredibly tough start to our relationship right from the get-go, right through the immigration process, to his father's illness, to a record-breaking cold winter, to a decrepid house, to a stinky, drooly dog, to coming here and having no real time alone (guests, visits, his sis is now staying with us in the house we have been out in), and me and my not agreeing to live in a relationship without full-on brutally honest communication, and him, well, he has not learnt to express himself...etc etc...

I know that life is messy and I will try to get out of this as unscathed as possible...even if at the moment I wish I was anywhere but in this (my) life.

I am a fish out of water....longing to be still living on a boat in the Pacific.

Tic toc tic toc.

Things will get better...

...or I will kill someone!

Breathe in....life is challening.

Breathe out...life is good.

It is what it is.

There are no mistakes, only experiences.
