Up had coffee, cut the lawn and did the dishes already how sad is that for a Sunday morning. Soon off to starting the laundry and such.

Whats ur husbands email?? I need to know his secrets. I hope you didnt awaken him as you puttered around outside, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

So far I have gone out to the patio and sat and looked at a lizard.

Then I came inside.

Good morning!

I got my Ped egg at Walgreens. It fits the bill in between pedicures. I always laugh when the "vent" thread veers off to OF

We have a ped egg! We love it.

Here in Louisiana- they no longer use the credo blade when doing pedicures :(

I can still buy the blades at the beauty suppliers or drugstores though- I usually get Mel to do my feet. You know its love when your hubby will scrape off ugly yellow callous for you :) he actually does a pretty job.

Of course, if he does mine I have to do his too.

I have gotten into doing my toenails to match the holidays- examples- red with hearts for Valentines; purple, yellow and green for Mardi Gras, etc. Mel lets me paint his to match. He'll walk around in sandals with is toes all painted up and doesn't give a ####### what anyone thinks. :)

They still use them here. Sometimes you have to ask, but other times they'll just do it. It's taken me a long time to find a place that can do a proper mani/pedi. I finally found one..... 45 minutes away. But it's right next to the Fresh Market so I turn it into a field trip. Should we not be in the Off Topic thread?
