Good Day All,

Thank you for your acknowledgements; my ego likes that. Bahaha!

I can see that many here are struggling with something or other...an ill loved one, partner misunderstandings, loneliness, timeline issues, school, moving, etc etc.

Ahhhh, young grasshoppers, such is life.

N'est pas?

Hee, hee.

What would life be if it wasn't for our day to day experiences be them loving, challenging or downright maddening?

Well, my life has been a roller coaster for sooooo long that I would think I was dead if there were no drama or movement or anything like that going on.

I have not had time to read through all the various threads and post (hence this could be construed as a vent in itself), as I do not have internet where I am staying, and sporadically lug my huge laptoppy to an internet café. It is mind-boggling beautiful here North of the Gulf of Mexico; really the nicest beaches I may have ever seen. White sugary powder sand, clean emerald water (that goes from light green to aqua marine to a deep blue as it gets deeper)...it is so beautiful, it fills up my soul with mmmmm....

A good thing because (to be continued...distractions....)

BTW dear Liz, please know that secret passwords are a good thing. Each person does not need to know everything about the other.

Discretion is golden!

Bye for now...

P.S. My sweetie's dad is just skin and bones and is suffering to hang on to life...and yet he is doing just that.

I am pouring out the love to him, and his wonder-full wife and every guest and family member that floats through their place.

It is grand central station, what with people coming here from all over the world.

Never a dull moment.

And like I needed to meet more people to get to know and love.

Now I need a free lifetime airplane pass...

And as for meeeee,

well,

uhm,

I am exhausted.

Spent.

And then

I regenerate...

somehow.

If you put it on paper, make sure you encrypt it. Better to have no evidence!! Watch some law & orders, CSI's to make ur plan. lol

There are actually a few really good ways of hiding information (without encryption) on a hard drive from snooping individuals. None of which I shall divulge here. Look around on the Internet hard enough, however, and I'm sure you'll come across them. ;)

Well, I'm glad that FIL is still fighting and I really wonder how much fun life would be without crisis. I know it sounds trite but it reminds me of that famous quote by JFK, "In the Chinese language, the word "crisis" is composed of two characters, one representing danger and the other, opportunity." Some people avoid conflict and crisis out of fear and never questions our system or mores and many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it. This unfortunately applies to all aspects of our society and all segments of our existence, not only our dealings with the USCIS.

Spring is the time of regeneration but you have a knack for it therefore I dub thee, "Empress Phoenix of VJ."

Don't apologize, I love it. If you were deadly serious all the time, without any avenue for release of inner tension, you'd go mad or at least have one Hell of an ulcer. Going through life with a lugubrious expression is not much of an existence. Life should be a fun experience, if it becomes a funeral march then that's not much of a life just a prequel to death. Frowning causes wrinkles so be silly and smile.

So..... my husband bought me a Ped Egg (I think he's got a bit of a foot fetish) and I used it last night. Except that I think that I took off way more skin than I should have because it hurts to walk now. Guess I'm going to have to build up some callouses.

Hehehe, my husband bought the two for one deal on Ped Eggs - we both have one and use them. But hey, they work! You do have to take care not to remove too much skin though - and use the foot miracle cream too:-). Barefoot season is here (at least indoors - I wear sandals outside because of all the insects!) and I really notice the difference.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Yes, you can buy them online. In fact, like Kathryn said, you can get the 241 deal online. They are totally worth the price.
