Currently we are still in the pending stage but I want to be prepared ahead of time so I have a few questions.

1) On co-sponsors. I have a job offer in Washington, DC that starts at the beginning of the year. Because it will be cutting it close with the time frame that our application should be reviewed I want to have a co-sponsor just in-case due to the small amount of time I will be in the job. It doesn't appear that the sponsor must live in the same household but I want to verify this. I will be moving to DC at the beginning of the year and the sponsor will be in FL.

2) Speaking of financial requirements where can I find the poverty line minimum or what the calculation for the 125% is based on?

3) Also, with my move, it says within 30 days, does this include during pending? I believe it does.

4) Originally we listed London as the Embassy for the interview; however, my fiance has returned to Ireland to spend time with his family before the possible move. USCIS said not to worry about notify the change now until the contact us later and notify change of embassies but the gentleman seemed a bit unsure. So thoughts?

5) When should an EAD be applied for?

6) Last question :P I am a bit confused on the paperwork aspect needed to be provided. The I-94 is done at passport control. So does this need to be stamped for 90 day work in order to get the SSN that is related to working? Trying to wrap my head around it.

Thanks for your help once again!

1) correct not needing to be same household, but should be someone related to you.

2) I-864P http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

3) Not following you 30 days for what? If you are referring to address change with USCIS this is for alien residents.

4) After NOA2 contact NVC, or Department of State and get the case changed to Ireland.

5) For K-1 apply for EAD WITH AOS not before. Filing for EAD before applying for AOS results in an EAD card the expires 90 days after entry, and can take up to 90 days to get, a useless card and a waste of $340. When filed for with AOS the cost of the EAD is them part of the AOS, and results in a 1 year EAD card.

6) NO SSA considers K-1 holders "Work Authorized" with or without the EAD stamp, you need to apply for SSN no later than 75 days after entry, after that you will need EAD card or Green-Card to get SSN.

Thank you thank you thank you this is very helpful!

Ok, to clarify, I will be moving from the location I listed on the application. Do I need to submit an address change another words?

The rest answered my questions wonderfully. I think I am just second guessing myself because I don't want to mess this up. Very nervous.

The change of location to Ireland, perhaps do you or someone else may know how long this will delay the process?

You guys as always are a wealth of info that is great!

The change of address of foreign citizen should be reported to NVC or DOS after USCIS sends them the petition. Trying to change anything while USCIS has the case is not advisable.

If US citizen is moving, this too causes USCIS problems, you call them and change the address and call them again to confirm. And still NOA2, letters get lost in the mail. USCIS usually puts "Return Service Requested" on the letter, so the post office wont forward that letter.
