Many of you know - as I have posted about it for the past year or so that we have been renovating our home. After the multitude of storms in 2004 & 2005, our house became a wee bit shabby - ok ok, a lot shabby. It was as if the house aged 10 years in those two. We also found out that our termite company was not properly treating our house for 7 years and we were infested. SO many factors came into play when we decided just to go for it and get it *refreshed*

We have done a lot of work on the interior as well as the exterior. Some of the work is :

renovation of the main & master bath (master still has a bit of work to go)

all new windows

new sliding glass door

new garage door

new carpeting (thanks Jackie!!)

painted kitchen cabinets (thank you stina!!)

new appliances

new exterior (removal of stone facade & wood to all stucco)

light landscaping

tree thinning out (some brazilian creeper thing on it?)

TO DO left:

kitchen countertops & tile backsplash

fence

master bath tile & tub

some pictures as its just not all finished yet. phew! its been exhausting!

(please don't laugh at my ooogly house - i love it dearly even though it was a shack! :P)

Thanks! It was not an easy task to coordinate all the contractors, etc. Most didnt show up! :o

Charles - that before picture was taken just after winter. That's when we have our dry spell. It turned all green a few months later.

Mags - I don't envy you and your project! I nearly tore my hair out just doing this simple refresh!

wow.... great job! I really like the way your exterior looks... and the curb appeal! The bathroom and kitchen look great too!

All we did this year was to replace all our windows... I think it was a total of 58 windows in all (including garage and basement). But we had a contractor do that. Now that we have done the windows, I'll sit hubby down and go over our other projects and put them in order of priority (and maybe give ourselves a kick in the behind to get things started!).

Right on  All we have left is the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom. I hope to get that going within the next two years.
