I don't personally know many people who like wearing overly baggy things. And I don't see many stores with really good options for people who are not skinny, so I don't know what people are talking about. XXXXXXXXL? I know it's an exaggeration but come on. I am not thin and wish I could find cuter things to wear that aren't only size extra small and size -2.

Doodle-Tell your husband to gain 10lbs before moving here. :P J/K But he probably will gain weight after he gets here. My husband did, most husbands here do too even when they are marrying in the same country! LOL Or just tell him to buy things over there and then after he arrives take him to try things on.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

There are a lot less hormones used, especially in milk and the like. I don't think Dev thinks you thought the Brits eat stuff out of bins. :P

I was wondering if I was the only one getting sick and tired of hearing about his thing. I mean, the rest of us could really care less how big or small it is. And in my experience, if you have to keep talking about how big it is, it's usually not that great.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I dunno, hubby's been here a year & he hasn't gained at all. We're pretty active people though. Plus he's been the same size all his life - 29-30" waist.

He's from the UK right? Don't they pretty much eat the same type of garbage we have here and put hormones in everything as well? Maybe it just wasn't much of a change for him?

um, no. We don't eat garbage.

lol my husband is from the UK and has gained about 25lbs since he moved here I think it's because he is no longer walking everywhere...heck I've gained about 10lbs since I'm not walking all over the place anymore

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Yeah but even with our meat and vegatables here they have hormones in them. Either they feed hormones to the animals to make them bigger or they put hormones on the crops to make them bigger and then feed that to the animals.
