I need help.

I am trying to purchase a few wintery items for my husband so that he'll have them here when he arrives. I am finding that a lot of stores boast about selling xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl items but hardly any sell items that have a waist below 30!

Any suggestions from the skinny men or the wives of skinny men?

buy women's clothes or check the kids section...Neil's mom bought him children's small boxers for christmas last year I almost passed out from laughter...he's gained about 25lbs since he moved to the US

It is hard. Americans like giant oversized clothes (likely to hide their fat).

My hubby sometimes finds stuff in the boys section. And Express for Men carries smaller sizes. H&M has small (fitted) sizes too.

Yeah, this seems to be a trend. Which sucks when you aren't actually fat and don't want to wear big baggy clothes. I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me. I sometimes end up in the little girls section buying size 14 or 16. It's very frustrating.

My husband insists on a 33 waist even though he really wears a 29 or 30. He belts them to fall below his hips.

I work part-time at Old Navy. You can get those sizes on their web site a lot of times. So, maybe check some web sites.

Boys sizes would not work if your man is tall.

LOL, my guy is skinny AND short...

I told him to buy as many pairs of pants and tailored shirts as he can when he is there because they have great tailor shops in Nepal and it is super-cheap compared to the US and I figure his size would be hard to find here.

I also warned him he should get a knockoff North Face jacket like you'd wear up in the mountains because in January that's what it feels like here...

I'm a skinny guy from the states and have ALWAYS had difficulty finding proper fitting pants. Good luck. You just have to search around. I typically settle for 30 - 32 and use a belt (cinched at the waist).

I'm not sure I'd buy anything before he gets here. My husband has gained a few pounds since he's arrived and it's possible that yours might have the same outcome since the food is different here and he's likely to be less active when he first gets here.

Try ZARA, I know there are stores in the States. It's a European store and they have small sizes for sure:-)
