Need a clarification/ Translation

So I have to proceed with the Credentials evaluation, like few people have mentionned to me here, and on the job market.

Here's is my issue. If you select Canada on that page http://www.wes.org/required/index.asp it shows what kind of documents they require in order to proceed with the application.

I have High school and a 3 years Degree in College (CEGEP)

All my papers are in French of course so I will need to have them translated. Here's my question:

What do they mean by :"Academic transcripts issued in English by the institutions attended for all post-secondary programs of study"

What is an academic transcripts? Is it what we call in French a "Bulletin scolaire" with every course we take listed on it and the grade for each period? Cause I have this in my possesision. Or is it a detailed list of every aspect taught in every class that the institution would have to print for me? Cause the way I read their form, I would have to send that form to my College and then they send it directly to WES. But WES says to translate anything that is not in English so then they would have to send it to me to I can have it translated, and for 20$ a page it ain't cheap with the 160$ that the application cost....

I mean it the Academic transcripts is what I think I have, it's only 2 pages and then I don't have to bother to send any form to my college....And as I understand when you have post secondary education they don't require anything from your high school years...is that correct?

Please help you poor French canadian friend in her confusion with that beautiful language that is English :help:

Edit: what confuses me the most is they say "To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended in an envelope bearing the institution's seal or stamp and/or an appropriate signature across the sealed flap. " for the academic transcripts, so how am I supposed to send them a translation if i don't see those documents ?

The transcript is the bulletin scolaire. The other document you are talking about is a course syllabus (je suis tres desole, I don't remember what it is in French). I don't remember how US colleges deal with the CEGEP. You should check with the Registrar's office at the university you plan on attending. For the translation you should get a copy of your transcript, have your college or other institution translate it (or a translation service if need be) and send that in and ask if they also need a sealed copy of the transcript. Usually if they bear the seal of the school that should be sufficient for most people.

Seems to me like they need the sealed copy of the transcripts directly from the institution. But I don't know if they will do that

Thought I could just send a copy of mine with the translation but seems like it's not gonna be enough...

I would send a sealed copy and an unsealed copy with a translation just to be sure. After the immigration process you probably are a huge fan of paperwork. What can I say, plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.
