:D I am applying for IR-1 visa in Canada. Just Called the NVC,the machine told me the case was completed 11/4 and next instruction needs 8 weeks. So what does that mean? Could I get interview after 8 weeks or get interview inform after 8 weeks? Thank you. Have a good day! :P

Hi,

My case was completed on March 7. I still am awaiting the interview date. It could takew another two months before my interview. I think it is a wait of 3-4 months for the interview date. NVC sends the list of completed cases to Montreal or Vancouver every 2nd week of the months to schedule interviews.

Good luck.

Kovil

:D Thank you for hte reply and congratulations.

Generally when could I get interview inform letter? One month before interview or earlier? Are there some other ways to know the interview date? Such as call Montreal consulant? Thank you.

I am applying for the IR-1 visa. I didn't get medical check inform yet. When will it come? With interview date inform? Could I do it before informing? Thank you.

:D

Hey To Answer some of your questions.

I am also going through Montreal. My case was completed in December05, I went ahead and had my medical in Jan06 and I received my letter for my interview about a month before my interview. My interview is on April 19th. Exactly 1 week from today.

Good Luck Hope this helps =)

Congrats on the case completion!

My case was completed November 19th, 2005. My interview was March 20th, 2005. Got my letter just after valentine's day, so about a month before the interview. I had my medical exam on March 15th, 2006. Picked up the results on March 17th. I went to Dr.Seiden and Associates in Toronto. They were great. :)

Call the NVC.

Or call the Consulate once the automated message says "Your information has been forwarded to the embassy".

But I highly doubt they'll be able to tell you anything right now, as they're just finishing scheduling for May, and your interview likely won't be until July/August. :(

:P thank you the reply from chicken little.

The automation system said that"the further instruction will be in 8 weeks". Does that mean the files are still in NVC right now. After 8 weeks, they will arrange the interview date and send the files to Montreal consulate?Thank you!

Well, yes, but it may take longer then eight weeks. :( My case was completed November 17th, and on January 17th there was still no word. I found out my interview date around Feb. 6th, so that would be about 11ish weeks after case completion. :)

Hope that helps!
