Did you forget to send a copy of the original birth certificate in Romanian? Send the copy of the original birth certificate and again send the English translation too. I do not think you need a US translator, however maybe others with experience can comment too.

Yes, it does the sworn saying they are competent in English and also is certified by a public notary but from Romania. Is true i forgot to send the xerox copy from original. They are saying to submit the english translation(they don't saying if should be by a US translator or not and notorized here in US)+copy from original birth certificate.

What i should send now?only the copy from original or i have to go to translate the birth certificate here with an US translator?

You do not need translations done by a US translator. You can use anyone who can do it (and certifies to his expertise on the document). My fiancee got her translations done (cheap) in Colombia and I used that - worked well.

I would suggest send a copy of the original along with a copy of the translation (whether done in US or Timbuktu.) Good Luck

It sounds like they want the copy of the original since you didn't send it in. Worded it badly by adding the English translation part... if you want to get it done by someone in the US, by all means, do - but you can also make an infopass and see what they say concerning the RFE, whether you should send in the one done in Romania or have one done here in the US, but you shouldn't need to have it done again...
