Hi,

My Brother in Law applied for his AOS in July. He is most concerned with his EAD. It's been 92 days and he hasn't heard anything so they called USCIS misinformation and they told him it all looks fine but right now they are only working on EADs from April?

Although they tried to get across that they were talking about the EAD and not the I-130, she assured him again that they are only working on April right now.

Does this sound right to any of you here?

Thanks for your help

I don't believe that is true. There are many people that have applied in July that are starting to find out their status of EAD.

For instance...

So there are 3 cases of people that applied in July and have recieved notice that they were approved for their EAD.

I also applied in July and I am still waiting. So hopefully it wont take much longer!

It took Claudeth about 2 1/2 months to get her EAD. You can also look at the immigration timelines, there are some stats for EAD. It would appear that the EAD is running a bit longer than normal. You could recommend an infopass.
