I just found out that My sister in law in guatemala is pregnate and I want to bring her home to help with our family and have her child here. I can not get her here because she is not my sister by blood and my wife can not get her here because she is a permedent resedent. Do you think if i enter for a work visa for a lady to come watch my kids and clean and cook i could get her a work visa?

Any thoughts?

Work visas are not intended for this use, as well as limited to a quota, and skilled labor.

Only option is your wife becomes a citizen and then files for her sibling. Siblings of US Citizen gets F-4 prefrence, and can take 5 or more years to get a visa number.

Other option is through marriage to a us citizen.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
