Future wife wants to take my last name

I am leaving today for Russia to get married. I have one last question as i get ready to leave the USA.

I searched the site for name changes problems when a Russian lady changes her last name to her husband's when getting married in Russia. The problem seems to center around leaving Russia with one name on her passport and another name on the immigration visa. Yes?

My fiancee wants to take my last name and also wants to get a new passport with her new name. I am doing a DCF I-130 petition and i wonder about the best way to proceed. I want to file while I am in Russia and i only have 30 days...not enough time for her to get a new passport and to also file the petition.

Advice? Recommendations?

Thanks!

Only issue is to get the name in passport changed before visa interview, since the visa will be in married name, and needs to match the name in passport.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You can probably get a new passport within that time, but you will probably need to grease the wheels, if you know what I mean.
