No emails from USCIS

I signed up for a Case Status Portfolio at USCIS.gov. My case keeps getting touched, most recent just yesterday. But, I'm not receiving any emails from them. Any idea why?

I checked my account status tand they have my email address, and I have set each case number for emails to be ON.

Just wondering if I'm the only one who's not receiving emails, or if there are others.

I should note that even though the last updated date was yesterday the status message has not changed. That's not a concern. But, I would still think I would get an email from them.

You only get an e-mail when the status changes (when the system is working properly.) The system is set up so that any time someone handles your file, the date touched is updated. It's like a tracking system for a package. But that could be someone just picking it up out of storage and moving it down the hall, or your own biometrics appointment.

When the status of your case changes (perhaps soon if they keep touching it), then you'll get an e-mail.

Emails only happen when case status changes, that is approval letter sent, rfe letter sent, etc... They do not email anytime they "Touch" the case.
