Hello VJ Members-

I have an issue. I am in the middle of preparing the paper work for AOS, EAD. In relation to the immunizations, he was supposed to complete his Hep B series in August and to be honest, we were busy and forgot to get the additional shot. I believe you have to wait a month between each shot.

My husband's temp EAD expires on 11/10/07, so I have to submit the paperwork this week.

With that stated, is Hep B needed for AOS? Can I submit the paperwork for AOS, EAD, knowing we missed the additional Hep B shot and mail in within the month the new Hep B shot schedule for update? I just want them to recieve the EAD (I765 app before 11/10).

Please advise.

Hello VJ Members-

Even if they receive the I-765 on or before 11/10 he is not going to be work authorized after his temp EAD expires and he get the 1 year EAD that you will file for along with the AOS.... It take 90 days+ for the EAD to be processed so he will not be authorized to work during that time...

As for the extra shots... they are not needed for AOS what is needed is the I-693A Vaccination suppliment... you need to take his vaccination record to a USCIS civil Surgeon and get this form completed... it will be in a sealed envelope for you to send along with your AOS....
