Visa denied based on income tax from last year. Never mind the fact I make more than enough now, I've already made more than minimum as of September. The "fat cow" as she called her wouldn't even look at the info for this year. Now she has to mail me a form to be filled out by a co-sponsor, if I can find one. So much for being here by Thanksgiving. Even Christmas is in jeopardy now.

That's such sad news :( I hope you're able to find a joint sponsor and get this sorted out quickly. Don't let this get you down.

Sorry to hear the bad news -- hope you get this sorted out pronto.

From what I can recall from others' experiences on VJ, once you get the new I-134 from your co-sponsor to the Embassy, London are quite good at turning the visa around as long as you were told you were approved pending the financial info.

Let us know how it goes -- I'm rooting for you!

Was down this morning before work cause I knew my parents wouldn't help out; they disapprove of anything to do with our relationship. Sure enough, when I called my dad he reminded me of the way they feel about this and said no. I really had no idea who I could approach that would be willing AND able to co sponsor. I get to work and they could tell right away things weren't as they should be. I explained what happened and never got the chance to ask before I had 2 co-workers volunteer, no questions asked.

As soon as J gets the paperwork they gave her sent to me I'll be able to send it right back with completed forms etc from co-sponsor. Courier will pick it up from her home and deliver to embassy. Visa should be on way to J within days from that, so they told her.

All in all, puts things back a couple of weeks or so. Maybe by Christmas. Here's hoping.......

(F):D So glad you found a sponsor so quickly. What shock that must have been. Still, you weren't denied it seems, just approved pending further info.

I've got my fingers crossed for you guys it all gets processed very soon.

From what J says, she was told the application was suspended until the co sponsor issue was resolved.
