Have you tried calling Department of state? Call DOS.You'll get a better answer with them than NVC. My case was completed September 24th and i already have a november interview. You should have an interview schedule by now. Goodluck!!!

Our case was completed September 24t,2007.

According to NVC plans, the interview date should have been set by now for the month of November.

I have called more than few times, but mostly I get "wait until we are done".

Anyone else with the same problem?

They will give you the same answer until they have scheduled you an interview. Once the interview is scheduled they will happily share the information with you. That was our experience.

When you receive you interview depends on how many appointments the embassy gives NVC to schedule. If the NVC say they are not done scheduling then they are telling you that they have not scheduled you an appointment but scheduling is still open for the month. Sometimes scheduling last longer than the second week.

Keep calling.

 I think it depends on the embassy if they do have any available slots for the interview, whether it is for the next month or the upcoming months thereafter. Your best bet is to call DOS, that's where I found out with mine!

Good luck and Congratulations!

I called again this mornning, and was told the embassy might have been booked for Nov. But they are not sure and there is no notes on my

file to indicate their points. But I don't understand if this is the case why they don't go ahead and book for December.

I am in the same boat! Case approved October 11th and told to wait 8 weeks for further notice.

Gosh, I am so impatient it's not good.
