This is one awesome thread! I just adore to see wedding dresses and wish I could wear mine again! The whole wedding day goes by so quickly that when its over you dream of looking like a princess again!

Here is my dress ... lets hope this works! I was planning on getting mine once I got to the US but I went into a shop in the UK and fell in love with this dress. It was my size, on the sale rail and was within my budget. By the way, everyone looks totally stunning!

Ooops, didnt work, let me try again!

honey... you chose absolutely a gorgeous dress.. romantic and dreamy... i love the tiara... simply divine ladybutterfly! cute hubby too!

Tho' lovers be lost, love shall not... and death shall have NO dominion!

I've had two dresses.

The first, for our small ceremony, was an ivory medieval style silk A-line. It has an empire waist and long chiffon sleeves and a small train. My mom and I bought it on eBay, and were completely shocked to find the quality was much MUCH better than the one that was twice the price I had tried on at David's Bridal. We didn't hem it or alter it, so the bust was huge and the hem too long, but it did the job.

My wedding gown for our big June ceremony is ivory silk satin, strapless, with a ballgown skirt and lace embellishments. At the moment, it's at the tailor's being altered to fit me (hem's too long, bust is too big...seeing a pattern?) The beading and lace on this dress is absolutely to die for!

So that's what I've worn/am wearing!

Such gorgeous dresses!!!! Such gorgeous brides!!! (L)

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT
