Can anyone tell me if it is absolutely necessary for my wife to get the Medical Examination mentioned in the I-485 form? She has been living in the US on a student visa for more than six years. Can I submit the I-485 without it?

My wife is currently working a full-time job. Can she continue to work after her current permit expires in July?

We are going to file the I-130 and I-485 at the same time and hopefully before the end of this week.

Thanks...

Yes she will need to have a medical and any vaccinations....

What visa does she have that allows her to work? she may have to give up work until she has approval for EAD (you need to file for this as well as AOS)... but this will depend on what visa she has that allows her work now...
