My moms take on the illegal immigration crap

My mom says that if SO many mexicans jump our boarders and demand rights, equal rights at that, then buy out the mexican goverment and make Mexico a state of the U.S. especially since our biggest immigration population are mexicans. That way mexico would become part of the US, same pay, same benefits, and mexicans and americans can come and go as pleased, and maybe the illegal ones here would go back to Mexico.

she was very proud of herself for coming up with this, but i just dont see it ever in our life times happening.

I also blame this idea on lack of sleep on her part

understandably if Mexico became a state, english would HAVE to be taught and learned regardless, i mean, its only fair since americans HAVE to learn spanish just to get jobs here in florida because most good jobs are for biliguals in english and spanish and mexico and cuba are 2 places NOT part of the US

a) most colleges offer bilingual education.. i.e. myself, ive been learning english since i was 8.

B) u don't HAVE to learn spanish.. another bilingual dude can take that job.. only americans lol are proud of their monolinguism..

NO one on this thread was attacking or bashing anyone, read it again, twice over if need be, the statement also about PR and mexico is a statement that PR isnt illegally forcing themselves in OUR country, then demanding ####### that isnt legal for them in the first place.

Plus this thread was for the topic, hence the fact i wrote the topic as it was.

If you take THAT much offence to it, then dont read it anymore.
