I am getting ready to submit my K1 packet. I am so worried about making a mistake here.

If I am using my passport stamps as evidence of my contact with my fiance, do I have to have those copies certified? And if I do, how do I get those certified? (i think its a different process than notarization.)

As for translations of foreign documents, I also have hotel receipts of my stay there, as well as a receipt for an engagement ring that I purchased in Serbia. Those also need to be translated. Has anyone used a translation service that notarizes the documents as well???

So many questions, I really hope some of you that have succesfully completed this part have some suggestions. And I really appreciate all of the help.

Photocopy of passport stamps is all you need to include.

Anyone fluent in the language can certify that the translation is accurate. A certified translator is not required. Notarization is only required for the sponsors signature on Affidavits of Support.

You only need to notarize the support document. Claudeth was directed to a translater for her German police clearance by the German Embassy so you might start with the embassy of the issuing country.
