EAD "card production" vs "approval notice"?

Last Monday I received an email saying that my EAD card was sent to production. Today I received an email saying that an EAD approval notice was being mailed to me.

Does the approval notice contain the EAD card? If not, how soon should I expect the EAD card?

Thanks in advance!

My approval email came, the same day as the card turned up in the post, so should be soon.

Though I have seen other cases here, where it takes a little longer.

To answer my own question ...

The approval notice contains the actual EAD card and came one day after receiving an "approval notice has been mailed to you" email. Like most other people I had previously received two "card production ordered" emails.

Personally I suspect that the first "card production" email is when the card is actually ordered, the second "card production" email is when they update the system when the card has been produced and finally the "approval notice" email is when they have mailed out the card.
