It was an interesting wedding. As I said, I had the flu. Both Bee and I didn't really sleep a wink the night before... so we woke up cranky as hell. Bee's mom bought me a bouquet for the ceremony, but it started leaking spore things on my dress which was not good for the allergies -_-

The judge that presided over our ceremony was really sweet and gave us a "decorative" marriage certificate as well as our legal certificate. We got to go into the courtroom and Bee's family took lots of pictures. We all got weepy at the vows

After the ceremony we took more pictures outside and then we went to a Jewish deli for brunch. I didn't eat much of my challah French toast, too dazed :D Then Bee went to work for his evening shift (I know, I know) and I stayed at home and watched the thunderstorm come down with the cats. I haven't seen a thunderstorm in forever and this one was fantastically loud. :D

For the rest of the weekend we stayed home, since I was still incredibly sick. But we had a great time with the Halo 3 Special Edition XBOX 360 that Bee's brother and sister-in-law got for us as a wedding present. I don't know who squealed louder, me or him!

We're putting paperwork and other stuff off until later in the week. For now we're still enjoying the sensation of "...oh, we're married!"

Beware the spores!!!!

Awww, it sounds so simple and romantic..sorry he had to work on your wedding night...thunderstorms are super romantic!

I bet Nick and I will end up playing video games too...lol we are geeks.

Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS YOU OLD MARRIED COUPLE, YOU!!!! (F)(F)(F)

Kinda sounds like our civil ceremony. We got up, I made breffrus, we got dressed, went to the courthouse (just the two of us... we were having a wedding-with-guests a few months later) and got married. It was a nice ceremony. The clerk of the court took pictures. Which all came out black. :( My husband dropped me off at the apartment and then went to work. I jumped in my car and drove 1.5 hours to meet our real esate agent to do some house hunting. Just a-day-in-the-life-of.:lol:
