Anyone who go to their interview with incomplete requirements? or papers from fiance arrived after your interview?what are the consequences and things that will possibly happen if I go to interview with lack of requirements?but I can show it to them as soon as I have it.

You will be placed in AR or AP (don't know which one is it) until all the documents have been received by the embassy (USEM).

Is there a chance you can call the Consulate before the interview date and ask them to change the date? My appointment letter said it was possible to ask for a different date for the interview.

I would not risk going to the interview without all the requirements, I'd rather ask for some more time.

I would recommend asking for the interview to be postponed as well...

I called USEM and asked if they can reschedule my interview and they said yes they can reschedule it after 2 months..

Better be safe than sorry. If you go to the interview lacking some requirements your process will be delayed anyway.

I don't really know what I'd do. If I have to wait for a new interview date or wait through a review, either way its waiting more time. So, depending on what you're lacking, I might try the interview at the originally scheduled time. If you're missing something like an original birth certificate from the petitioner or a few paystubs, it may just get overlooked. I guess it depends on what you're missing. I read in the past that someone was missing some documents at their interview. The interviewer granted the visa but withheld it until the documents were sent to the embassy. I wish I could remember where that thread was. Anyway, good luck. Either way, you will probably have to wait longer. So, why not try. Unless of course it causes a longer wait. Dang, sorry I can't help so much here.

ok, there are pro's and con's to going to the interview while missing things.

I went with my fiance to his interview and we knew we were missing a couple things. Some of the things we didn't have we found out we didn't need...such as any documentation for his children that we will apply for K-2's in the future. We chose to go ahead with the interview as it would be the only time I would be able to go to it with him.

What we were missing and did need was a police certificate from Canada (as my fiance had lived there for a couple years). What we did was bring evidence that we had applied for it and that we had followed up with canada to try and get it in time. We got through with the interview and the interviewing officer said 'congratulations'. we passed the interview but he couldn't give us the visa until we sent in the police certificate. He gave us a 221-g form that will hold our case for up to a year.

We still don't have the certificate...but as soon as we do we'll send it right in.

Without knowing what you are missing, it's hard to say what you should do.

If you are missing evidence of support...I would definatly wait until you get that sorted out.

My fiance will hopefully start his new job this coming 22nd and he can ask for employment certification and he will get his first pay stubs on 29th but he will fax it to me. Do I really need to have W-2? He has IRS way back 2002-2006...

What did the Consulate appointment letter said? Have you received the instruction package yet? Some consulates ask especifically for W-2.

Didn't see when your interview is but if you have time have your man get Tax transcripts from IRS for last three years and send them to you. Only takes a couple day to get them from IRS if he has them faxed to him. Can scan or fax them to you naman.'

No need W2s if you use Tax transcripts!

My interview is on Nov 7, 2007. He have the tax transcript from IRS what I confused about if is it necessary to have the W-2 since we have the IRS 2002-2006 which already stating the W-2
