My husband is Albanian and had most of the required vaccinations, but the records got lost in a fire.

Does he have to get them all over again? Does it need to be done by a certain doctor or any in the country?

Thanks

Jenni

He can have blood drawn to check the titres for immunity. A lot easier and cheaper than having another round of shots! He may only need to update the Tetanus & Diptheria booster, which is required every 10 years for adults. Everything else should be sufficient on the titres. He can have that done by his regular doctor, and then take the results to the panel physician that does his medical. It takes a couple of weeks sometimes to get results back, so plan accordingly. And keep a copy for his own records, it may be needed again later.

see the age appropriate lists at this website. http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm They're pretty much the same from country to country, but this website is the immigration doctor in Ontario, Canada.

Do these vaccinations need to be done by the time of the interview?

Thanks

depends on the country. Check with the consulate and/or physician where he'll be interviewed and have his medical.
