Hi All

Please advise whether we need to submit original photos,original bills,origial receipts while filing the k1 petition?

Are the photocopies ok?

Photocopies are fine for everything.

Photocopies are OK for everything except the I-129F form, G325As and intent to marry letter!

I sent a few original pictures but everything else was a photo copy.

We sent copies of just about everything 'except' the forms, letters of intent and passport style photos. A few originals were sent like letters/cards. And our photos were exact photo copies from Kinkos/FedEx.

5-24-2010 - Sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center via USPS (receipt/signature required)

5-25-2010 - Delivered to Vermont Service Center & Signed For

6-1-2010 - I-751 Receipt Notice Received in Mail (dated 5/26/10)

*time Passed

7-30-2010 - Biometrics date: August 13, 2010

8-13-2010 - Biometrics Finished

*time passed

8-30-2010 - email received 'card production ordered'

8-31-2010 - touch (updated on uscis as approved)

9-4-2010 - Received 10yr Green Card ** Now we relax **

Affidavit of Support

Circumstances of Meeting

Letter of intent to marry

Pictures

The rest were photocopies.

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

Photocopies are okay and really they are preferable. The embassy may ask to see the originals later.

mailed AOS, EAD, AP: 8-22-2008

NOA AOS, EAD, AP: 8-27-2008

Biometrics: 9-18-2008

AOS Transferred to CSC: 9-25-2008

Requested EAD Expedite: 11-12-2008

EAD Card production ordered: 11-12-2008 changed to 11/17/2008 Why? (I hope it doesn't change every week!)

Received AP: 11/17/2008

Received EAD: 11/22/08 (Praise God!!)

AOS RFE: 1/29/2009

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009
