Okay, so one last game worth watching this year comes next week when we get to see who will host the AFC Championship game against whoever loses that game. I will say this though- if the Pats beat Indy in their own Stadium, they will go undefeated. I'm not as sure about Indy. They are in a more competitive Division.

Pretty exciting game next week though. Does anyone know the last time two teams with unbeaten records have met as as late as week 8?

I'm still a noob when it comes to (American) football but I find it interesting that during Superbowl XXXVI (2002), New England was considered the underdog. Look where they are now.

It has never happened before. It also unusual for an undefeated, defending superbowl champ at home to be the underdog. It will be the same as the AFC championship last year - both teams have such a good offense that the only strategy can be put more points on the board yourself.

The patriots can very easily lose to the colts, but then again, I said that about San Diego this year too.

The playoffs are what matter though. The regular season is only half over - a lot can still happen.

when i watch the pats of 07' i think of 3 things: steelers of the 70's, 49ers of the 80's, cowboys of the 90's.

no doubt in my mind who is the best team in the nfl at week 6. but, it is week 6. a lot can happen between now & jan.

btw: GO STEELERS!!!

*sigh* I miss the 80's. 49ers won their first two this season, and went downhill from there. :crying:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
