Hope for recent Nebraska Filers

We sent in Ying's I-751 on September 17th to NSC. For the last week I've been checking our bank account to see if the check has been cashed. Today (10/15) the check still has not been cashed but when I arrived home from work Ying had a big smile on her face. NOA1 arrived in the mail today.

By the receipt number (starts with WAC) and the address on the bottom it looks like our case has been tranferred to California.

Now we wait for the biometrics appointment.

I just checked my bank account again and nothing yet. Maybe my bank is a little slow in posting things. As long as we have NOA1 we're satisfied. From what I've been seeing it looks like cases in California move along relatively fast. I've also seen approvals without interviews. Hopefully our cases will be the same.

I file I751 in NSC on September 4 and my check get cash on September 24. So, you have to waiting your check cash about 2 or 3 weeks and then 1 or 2 weeks you will get fingerprint appointment too. Good luck

The check was finally cashed.

Sept 17 - Mailed Documents

Sept 18 - Documents received at NSC

Sept 19 - Date on NOA1 with California Service center Address

Oct 15 - NOA1 recieved in mail

Oct 16 - Check posed as cashed in our account.

Hopefully kitty 0657 is correct and Ying will get her biometrics appointment letter in the next few weeks. It will be nice to get this taken care of so we can rest a few months before we start getting the paperwork together to apply for Ying's citizenship.

My I751 was received on Oct 3 by NSC. Unfortunately, check has not been cashed yet. I hope my case was also transferred.

The on-line image of the check is a little hard to read but it looks like it has been cashed by the California Service Center. Hopefully in a couple of weeks you'll get the same good news that we received.

Ying received her NOA this past Monday, October 15th. Today she received her appointment letter for her biometrics. She is scheduled to have them done in Milwaukee November 8th.

I'm glad the case was transferred from NSC to California! She has a friend who sent in her I-751 to NSC last May and is still waiting.

CSC is faster, good luck for you. My I-751 sent to NSC in January is apparently still catching dust in Nebraska. I haven't heard, however, that CSC sends out fewer invitations for interviews than other service centers. I-751 that have been submitted by the couple together lead seldom to interviews anyhow.

received my notice on Friday too!!!!

My appointment is on 11/8, the service center is blocks from my house, so I might try to drop by today and see if they'll take everything today. Worth trying
